Track Name: That's My Last Flare
So fuck it Roxanne, put on your God damn red light. You know I can’t trust you to stay for all the night. Look in your mirror, you’re like me from far away. You don’t know anything at all.
Track Name: Encroachment
When you come home, I’ll be there in the kitchen in good time. The ghosts on the ceiling tell me everything about how all this will go on. I’ll be the witch on your windowsill. I’ll be the screen door that doesn’t shut right. I’ll serenade to your emergency. The “driving snow” that drives you home to me. Thank you all for opening up to me that I’m still “deaf and blind” at 23.
Track Name: The Pumpkin Chord
I see galaxies in your eyes and it’s clear enough to me. I know lightyears away there’s some moon where we can be alone; away from all your shit. And it’s easy enough to confuse your lamps from stars. With my telescope I see inconsistencies with the lines between the stars. Your constellation’s wrong and it’s sure enough I know.
Track Name: Rolling With The Boys
The winter couldn’t come sooner. It feels like Hell. My walks still feel so hollow waiting for leaves to fall for me. Breeze on wax, autumn on vinyl. The weather doesn’t inspire until we come to November (it’s better).
